Kpopmap had the incredible opportunity of interviewing YounHa and in conversation, she opened up about her creative processes, inspirations, the driving force behind the album, and more. She also left a sweet message for fans ahead of her interview with Kpopmap.
When asked about how the singer-songwriter created the concept of the album and her first vision of the same, YounHa shared that she realized that the idea of a wormhole would be perfect to create a connection between her sonic style in the past and her present perspective on music. In order to better contextualize the same, she studied the movie “Interstellar” and other science documentaries thoroughly. After receiving help from her visual and planning teams, she could finally bring her vision to life. YounHa also shared that her aim with the album was to present a sense of resonance to listeners through stories about the end. Needless to say, her message rang loud and clear.
